INTRODUCTION Marketing of agricultural produce is as important to better performance in agriculture as farming itself. Farmers in traditional agriculture are not well connected to produce and input markets and are mostly not organized in self-help groups or cooperatives hence having a low bargaining power during the marketing of their produce. Therefore, this course will help in bringing up the linkage between crop and livestock marketing and opening up opportunities in the rural setup to SME development in agribusiness for improved livelihoods and rural development. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive Certificate of Participation. GENERAL NOTES · The instructor led trainings are delivered using a blended learning approach and comprises of presentations, guided sessions of practical exercise, web-based tutorials and group work. Our facilitators are seasoned industry experts with years of experience, working as professional and trainers in these fields. · The participants should be reasonably proficient in English as all facilitation and course materials will be offered in English. · Upon successful completion of this training, participants will be issued with a certificate. · The training will be held at Kincaid Training Centre.
