INTRODUCTION

Intellectual property is the currency of the tech world, with the world’s most valuable intellectual property assets dwarfing the value of their real-world counterparts. Through the courses participants will learn about the various forms of intellectual property rights, including patents, copyrights, and trademarks. Further, the course will discuss their various applications of intellectual property rights to human innovations. After the training, participants will go through various case studies around the world of how business entities have applied intellectual property law as an intangible asset in value creation.

  • Using this knowledge, you will then work to create a trademark strategy for a business, examine a patent document, and respond to a cease-and-desist letter for copyright. You will have the framework needed to develop comprehensive intellectual property strategies suited to an organization's primary business objectives after completing these practical assignments.

·      The instructor led trainings are delivered using a blended learning approach and comprises of presentations, guided sessions of practical exercise, web-based tutorials and group work. Our facilitators are seasoned industry experts with years of experience, working as professional and trainers in these fields.

·      The participants should be reasonably proficient in English as all facilitation and course materials will be offered in English.

·      Upon successful completion of this training, participants will be issued with a certificate.
