Training Course on Asset and Liability Management

Introduction

Asset and Liability Management (ALM) is a strategic approach to balancing the risks and returns associated with an institution’s assets and liabilities. In financial institutions, effective ALM ensures liquidity, mitigates interest rate and currency risks, and optimizes profitability while complying with regulatory requirements. With growing market volatility, shifting interest rate environments, and increasingly complex financial instruments, ALM has become a critical discipline for sustainable financial performance.

This five-day intensive training provides participants with the tools, frameworks, and analytical techniques needed to manage balance sheets effectively. It covers the principles of ALM, regulatory frameworks, risk measurement methods, and the use of financial models to make informed decisions. Practical case studies and simulations will enable participants to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, ensuring that they can anticipate and respond effectively to market and liquidity challenges.

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive Certificate of Participation.
