Introduction
In today’s data-driven development landscape, effective Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) is crucial for project success and accountability. This advanced course is designed to enhance participants’ skills in planning, collecting, managing, analyzing, and interpreting data to support decision-making, learning, and performance improvement. Through practical sessions, real-life case studies, and hands-on exercises using modern data collection and analysis tools, participants will gain deep insights into both quantitative and qualitative methods of data collection, management, and interpretation.
The course goes beyond the basics to cover advanced techniques in data quality assurance, digital data collection (ODK, KoboToolbox, SurveyCTO), statistical analysis (SPSS, Stata, or R), and data visualization (Excel, Power BI, or Tableau). It also integrates participatory approaches and adaptive M&E strategies for complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive Certificate of Participation.
