This modular certification program offers structured learning for professionals working in mobile payments, secure digital services, and NFC-based ecosystems. The track is ideal for those seeking advanced expertise in Secure Elements (SE), GlobalPlatform configurations, contactless payment technologies, and digital wallet deployment.

Participants progress through foundational, specialization, integration, and deployment levels, culminating in architect-level certification.

Students who successfully complete the course will receive a Certificate of Participation.

Course Objectives

By completing this multi-level certification track, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the architecture, function, and lifecycle of Secure Elements (SEs) such as UICC, embedded SE, and microSD
  • Apply GlobalPlatform specifications to configure, personalize, and manage SEs securely
  • Distinguish between HCE-based and SE-based mobile wallet architectures and implement both
  • Integrate mobile applications with SEs using Open Mobile API (OMAPI) and WebAPI
  • Design, develop, and deploy secure digital wallets that comply with EMVCo, GSMA, and GlobalPlatform standards
  • Implement end-to-end mobile payment services, including backend provisioning, tokenization, and secure applet deployment
  • Establish and manage secure channels (SCP02/SCP03) for SE communication and application updates
  • Evaluate real-world case studies to improve service design for sectors like banking, telecom, transport, identity, and healthcare
  • Build and present a full mobile contactless solution as part of a capstone project, validating both technical knowledge and practical skills

LEVEL 2: SPECIALIZATION MODULES

Module 3. GlobalPlatform SE Configuration & Lifecycle Management

Duration: 3 Days

  • Application lifecycle (load, install, delete)
  • SCP02/03, ISD, SSD management
  • UICC and Financial configurations

Module 4. Mobile Contactless Technologies & NFC Architecture

LEVEL 3: INTEGRATION MODULES

LEVEL 4: CAPSTONE & FINAL CERTIFICATION

Module 7. Capstone Project: Mobile Payment Service Design

Duration: 2 Days + Presentation

Format:

  • Team-based real-world simulation
  • Complete solution including SE access, mobile API, and backend
  • Final project presentation and expert panel review

Final Award: Certified Mobile Contactless & SE Solutions Architect

  • The instructor led trainings are delivered using a blended learning approach and comprises of presentations, guided sessions of practical exercise, web-based tutorials and group work. Our facilitators are seasoned industry experts with years of experience, working as professional and trainers in these fields.
  • The participants should be reasonably proficient in English as all facilitation and course materials will be offered in English.
  • Upon successful completion of this training, participants will be issued with a certificate.
  • The training will be held at Kincaid Training Centre. The course fee covers the course tuition, training materials, two break refreshments and lunch.
