INTRODUCTION

Development in the rural areas is escalating given that in the modern era, urban areas have already been developed. However, to accomplish rural development certain aspects such as the financial and agricultural knowledge of rural development must be understood and taken into account.

This comprehensive training course equips development professionals, government officials, and NGO practitioners with the knowledge and practical tools required to address challenges in rural areas. The course delves into rural poverty, inclusive growth, livelihoods, institutional frameworks, service delivery, and sustainable development.

By focusing on context-specific strategies, this program will enable participants to design, implement, and evaluate rural development policies and programs that are pro-poor, participatory, and sustainable..

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive Certificate of Participation.

OBJECTIVES

GENERAL NOTES

  • The instructor led trainings are delivered using a blended learning approach and comprises of presentations, guided sessions of practical exercise, web-based tutorials and group work. Our facilitators are seasoned industry experts with years of experience, working as professional and trainers in these fields.
  • The participants should be reasonably proficient in English as all facilitation and course materials will be offered in English.
  • Upon successful completion of this training, participants will be issued with a certificate.
  • The training will be held at Kincaid Training Centre. The course fee covers the course tuition, training materials, two break refreshments and lunch.
