Training Course on Strategic Monetary Policy in a Changing Environment

In an era marked by inflation volatility, technological disruptions, geopolitical shifts, and climate-related financial risks, the design and execution of effective monetary policy have never been more critical. Central banks globally—and particularly in Africa—are navigating unprecedented challenges that demand adaptive, data-driven, and forward-looking approaches to policy formulation.

This intensive course on Strategic Monetary Policy in a Changing Environment by Kincaid Development Center equips participants with the analytical, strategic, and practical tools needed to manage modern monetary policy amidst uncertainty and transformation. The course blends macroeconomic theory with real-world central banking experience, focusing on emerging trends such as digital currencies, climate risk integration, and structural shifts in global finance.

Participants will explore case studies of central banks adapting to rapid change, examine innovative policy instruments, and engage in simulation-based learning to test their decision-making capabilities in volatile contexts. This training aims to strengthen the strategic capacity of policymakers and senior economists to sustain stability, growth, and financial system resilience.

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive Certificate of Participation.
